Brian McNally Glass Artist
Building leaded glass for forty-five years. Doing Ceramics and Glass Blowing work at UCLA and RISD, MA, MFA respectively. A licensed California contractor. Fully insured and bonded. Received the first master’s degree in glass sculpture at UCLA in 1972. Awarded a fellowship toward graduate work at Rhode Island School of Design, working under glass artist Dale Chihuly. Received a Master of Fine Arts Degree in glass sculpture in 1975. Opened his current studio in Santa Barbara in 1976. Building windows, doors, skylights, and lamps using traditional arts and crafts methods in lead, copper foil, and zinc cane. All work is of original designs using glass collected for over forty years. The artist works alone and uses outside sources in certain aspects of construction and installation.
